TIMSA HVAC Guide
The TIMSA Domestic and Non-Domestic Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Guide has taken over the role of BS 5422: 2001 in providing practical information on how to comply with the Building Regulations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This vital reference document contains tables indicating the thickness of the different duct insulation materials required to meet the necessary standards in a number of scenarios.

The tables demonstrate that the thickness of Kingspan Kooltherm Duct Insulation needed to meet the requirements can be up to 38% thinner than that for mineral fibre and up to 60% thinner than that for nitrile rubber, and can save on space, capital costs and installation time.
