Why it is not cost effective to use mineral fibre in timber framed walls

Kingspan Insulation used an independent cost model to assess the alternatives to achieve a U-value of 0.27 W/m².K in timber framed walls. The model compared Kingspan Kooltherm K12 Framing Board and mineral fibre. The study methods and conclusion are shown in detail in the white paper which can be downloaded below.
