Kingspan Insulation Planet Passionate Community Fund
Engagement with local communities surrounding our manufacturing sites has always been vitally important to us. Through the development of Kingspan’s Planet Passionate initiative, it has become clear that people and communities are at its heart, as they are the reason we strive to leave the planet in a better way than we found it.
It is with this in mind that we have launched the Planet Passionate Community Fund at our Pembridge and Selby sites, dedicated to supporting the people and environment within our local communities.
The aim of this fund is to give back to initiatives and projects that are making a difference to our planet and the people that live in our local communities, in line with our Planet Passionate goals.
To help support the amazing work going on in our local communities, the Planet Passionate Community Fund is now in open for applications.
Please see below how to apply.
Funding Criteria:
As the Planet Passionate Community Fund has the specific purpose of improving and investing in the local communities that surround the sites we work on, we have developed guidelines and criteria for successful applicants to gain funding.
Anyone working at our Pembridge and Selby sites can apply on behalf of or encourage an application from projects in the local community near to these sites.
Projects can be established or new. Successful applicant projects must meet one of the following criteria:
- Align with one or more of the Planet Passionate focus areas - Energy, Carbon, Circularity and Water
- Support biodiversity, conservation and protection of our natural world
- Support the education and skills of young people
- Improve the health of our communities through recreation and wellbeing
- Work together with local charities and local charitable events towards one of the above key areas
If you are involved in or know of a project that meets one of the above criteria, then please apply to the Community Fund here.
We look forward to hearing from you!
