Alder Hey in the Park offers a completely new vision for healthcare provision. Its gently undulating, three-fingered design was developed by BDP and Laing O’Rourke with regular input from a group of current and former patients. The resulting 270-bed facility offers a much warmer environment for patients and their families, with large outdoor spaces on every floor and easy access to play areas. The purpose-built park hospital also boasts a top class critical care unit and 16 digitally enhanced theatres.
