The ‘Setting the Bar’ report provides a blueprint for improving the competence of those working on HRBs and driving culture change in the industry. It has led to sector-based frameworks that will provide the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours needed to carry out specific roles, and deliver a more rigorous approach to the essential training and assessment that is required.
For Construction Products, through WG12, is the publication of ‘Built environment – proposed construction product competence standard – white paper’ which is being turned into a British Standard, expected to be published in early 2025.
