KoolDuct System

Designed for mechanical ventilation, heating and air-conditioning systems, The Kingspan KoolDuct System is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects in the residential, commercial, public, light industrial and leisure sectors. Moreover, it is especially suitable for use in nonferrous applications such as MRI scanning units in hospitals, and on other high specification projects where non-fibrous insulants may be preferred.

Product Highlights

  • Ideal for projects where existing building structures have insufficient load capacities for new service loads.

  • Low weight ductwork fabricated in sections up to 2.95 m long allows for single–fix, quick installation.

  • No need to install insulation as a second operation reduces project scheduling periods for insulated ductwork.

  • Space required for a separate layer of insulation is eliminated, allowing ductwork to be installed flush to surfaces.

  • Reduced labour and materials, including fixings, can provide a cost-savings without compromising performance.

  • Air-leakage rates can be reduced to a fraction of those typical of rectangular sheet metal ductwork.
