Thermataper TT47

Thermataper TT47 is a high performance tapered insulation. It is designed to enhance water drainage for flat roofs waterproofed with fully adhered single-ply, partially bonded built-up felt, mastic asphalt, and cold liquid applied waterproofing. Thermataper TT47 comes with a supporting design service that ensures the end result is a tapered system design that meets the roof’s rainwater run-off and insulation requirements.

Product Highlights

  • Available as a Thermataper TT47-O System with an OPTIM-R packer board, giving the thinnest solution

  • Pre-bonded tapered boards (TT47 PB) are available to reduce installation time. Contact our roofing team 

  • Insulation and drainage in one - a practical alternative to screeding, structural falls or firrings

  • Supported by a bespoke tapered roofing design service

  • Fully compatible with single-ply non-bituminous membranes that are fully bonded with solvent-based adhesive systems

  • Fully compatible with most bitumen based and mastic asphalt waterproofing systems

  • Compatible with most green roof systems

  • Load bearing implications for an existing structure can be minimal

  • Available with FM Approval to FM 4470 - search 'Kingspan Therma' on the FM Approvals website for conditions of approval
