Fire resistance evaluates the ability of a system or assembly to withstand fire and continue to perform its given function and / or to provide containment of a fire for a specified period of time.

Each report is accompanied by field of direct application information which defines the permissible variations that can be introduced to a tested specimen without requiring further testing or assessment.
