STEICO flex 036

STEICO flex 036 flexible wood fibre insulation slabs carry the BioKor trustmark which indicates that they are manufactured with a minimum 80% bio-based content. Suitable for pitched roofs and timber frame walls, the slabs friction fit to adjoining components and have a thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mK.

Product Highlights

  • Thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/mK

  • PEFC certified (PEFC/16-37-1330) - manufactured using wood sourced from PEFC certified forests

  • Manufactured with a minimum 80% bio-based content (tested according to EN 16785-2) and carries the BioKor Trustmark

  • Friction fit installation between rafters or studs

  • Water vapour diffusion resistance (µ) of 2

  • Airflow resistance of ≥ 5 (kPa *s) / m² to ISO 9053-2: 2020

  • Ideal for new build or refurbishment

  • Easy to cut, handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants
