With respect to fire performance, our approach to the safe use of our insulation products in buildings is founded on the principle that system testing is the best way to assess fire performance of any roof, wall or façade system, regardless of the classification of the insulation materials used.
Products are categorised using the Euroclass system, which is the standard for fire safety classification of building materials. It categorises products into one of seven reaction to fire classes ranging from A1 down to F.
We are also constantly working to develop innovative technologies which ensure that where the use of Euroclass A1 or A2-s1,d0 rated solutions is required, project teams can achieve this without having to compromise other areas of building design or performance.
