One of the thinnest commonly used insulants for pitched roofs, allowing U-values to be reached with minimal thickness

Unaffected by air infiltration and resistant to the passage of water vapour

Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants

Kooltherm K103 Floorboard

PIR

Rigid insulation with a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK 

Unaffected by air infiltration and resistant to the passage of water vapour

Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants

Thermafloor TF70

Extruded Polystyrene (XPS)

High compressive strength - ideal for heavy duty commercial, industrial and cold store flooring. Available in a number of grades to suit a range of service loads.

Rigid insulation with thermal conductivities as low as 0.033 W/mK 

Unaffected by air infiltration and resistant to ground moisture penetration

Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants

 

Kingspan GreenGuard GG300 - compressive strength of 300 kPa

Kingspan GreenGuard GG500 - compressive strength of 500 kPa
