Which Pitched Roof Insulation is best for my project?

We offer a range of solutions for your pitched roof or loft, including between and over rafter insulation boards and insulated plasterboard for under rafters. Our products can also be used between and inside studs for any dwarf walls in your loft, as well as between and over floor joists to fully insulate your attic space.

Phenolic insulation for use between or over rafters

  • Rigid insulation with a thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/mK.

  • One of the thinnest commonly used insulants for pitched roofs, allowing U-values to be reached with minimal thickness.

  • Unaffected by air infiltration and resistant to the passage of water vapour.

  • Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants.

Thermapitch TP10

PIR insulation for tiled or use between or over rafters

  • Thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK.

  • Unaffected by air infiltration and resistant to the passage of water vapour.

  • Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants.

Kooltherm K118 Insulated Plasterboard

Phenolic insulated plasterboard for use under rafters

  • Rigid insulation with a thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/mK.

  • Insulation, drylining and vapour control in one board.

  • Friction fit installation between rafters or studs.

  • Easy to handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants.

STEICO universal dry

Wood fibre insulation sheathing board for pitched roofs and walls

  • Thermal conductivity of 0.043 W/mK.

  • Tongue and groove edges fix to adjoining components.

  • Easy to cut and install compared to some other commonly used insulants.

  • Waterproof - can be used as a temporary roof covering.

  • Non-tenting.

  • Airtight at normal building pressures.
